Filtering Tasks And Using Kanban

The task list helps you search across work; the Kanban board groups tasks by status so you can arrange what should be worked on next.

Filter The List

  1. Open production Tasks.
  2. Enter a title under Search tasks.
  3. Choose Status, Area and, if available, Assigned to.
  4. Select Search.
  5. Use Clear to remove applied filters.

Global means general production work. Other areas identify tasks connected to production records. Assigned to is available when you can view other people's work.

Arrange The Board

  1. From Tasks, select Kanban View.
  2. Find the status column containing the task.
  3. Drag the task to another position in that column to change its order.
  4. Drag it to another column to change its status.
  5. Open the task when you need to change its details or assignment.

The board saves moves. Reordering within a column is useful for arranging tasks of the same status; moving between columns also changes their status.

Troubleshooting

Reordering within a column requires task editing permission. Moving between columns requires permission to change task status. If you can change status but cannot edit tasks, you can move a task between columns without choosing its precise position. Keep the page open while a move saves; if a failure message appears, reload the board to check the saved position before moving it again. Filtering and access restrictions can mean your board does not contain every production task.
