Editing Daily Call-Sheet Information

The day workspace combines information from the schedule with call-sheet-specific fields. Save each editing section explicitly where a save button is provided.

Complete Basic Details

  1. Open the day and select Basic Details.
  2. Review the tabs Call Times, Environment, Contacts, Production Details and Notes and Guidelines.
  3. Complete the displayed general call, key contact, emergency and unit-base fields.
  4. Add production, department and guideline notes where relevant.
  5. Select Save Call Sheet Data.

Department notes offer Copy data from another day and Import. Check copied information carefully; an emergency address or instruction appropriate yesterday may be wrong today.

Import Weather And Sun Information

  1. In Environment, enter a city and/or postcode under Location....
  2. Choose Celsius or Fahrenheit.
  3. Select Import Environment Data.
  4. Review Weather and Sunrise/Sunset.
  5. Save the call-sheet data.

The interface recommends reimporting close to distribution and checking the external data's accuracy.

Review The Schedule-Based Sections

Section What To Do
Cast Inspect character, artist, call, HMU, wardrobe, on-set and estimated-wrap times. Edit Cast Call Times takes you to daily scheduling.
Crew Inspect the selected crew, call, estimated wrap and notes. Use Edit Crew Call Times for schedule changes.
Scenes Review filming order and write notes, then select Save Scene Notes.
Locations Check approved sets and addresses, add notes and select Save Location Notes.

When individual calls or wrap times are blank, the displayed packet can use the general times from Basic Details. Review what each person will actually see.

Preview And Download

Select Preview after saving. Check shoot date, general and individual calls, people, filming addresses, notes and emergency information. Use Download for the day's PDF where available.

Troubleshooting

No Location Set indicates that the story location needs an approved set, not just a typed name. A blank performer indicates an uncast character. Editing notes does not change the filming order; change the stripboard for that. Saving one section does not save unsent edits in another.
