Creating And Managing Contacts
Contacts stores people information for casting, crew assignment, expenses and daily communication. A contact can exist without a registered production user account.
Create A Contact
- Open Contacts → Add New Contact.
- Enter Full Name.
- Select Create Contact.
- Select Manage beside the new record.
- Complete the relevant information tabs and select Update Contact.
The grouped form contains contact information and other production details. Complete only the fields relevant to your production arrangements.
Manage Access To Daily Materials
The contact form offers Contact Can Recieve Callsheets and User Can Access Sides. Set the appropriate choices and select Update Contact. The spelling here follows the current interface.
The list displays Production User, Recieve Call Sheets and Download Sides so you can review eligibility. To change several records, select their checkboxes, choose the relevant Bulk Actions option and select Apply.
Invite Or Disconnect A Contact
Invite To Production is available when the contact is not already attached to a matching production user/invitation. It is separate from assigning the person to a role.
Decouple Contact removes the person's assignments to cast characters, crew roles and expense claims in the current production. It keeps the contact record. Review those assignments before using it. Delete Contact removes the contact after confirmation; review linked roles and distribution needs before deleting.
Troubleshooting
A person can be a production user but not assigned as cast or crew, or can be cast/crew without a user account. If a call-sheet recipient is missing, check their email and call-sheet eligibility in addition to their role assignment.
