Inviting Production Users
Production Users controls who can access the workspace. This is separate from maintaining a person's record in Contacts or casting them as a character.
Before You Begin
Open the correct production. You need access to Users and permission to invite people. Production invitations are unavailable in a sandbox.
Invite A Collaborator
- Select Users in the production navigation.
- Enter their address in Enter email address.
- Choose an appropriate role from Select A Role.
- Select Invite User.
- Check the appropriate list for the invitation.
Approved Users includes registered users, with Active or Awaiting Invite Acceptance status. Invited Users lists people who have not yet registered with CinePlatform. They should register using the invited email address; registered invitees can accept through Productions → Accept Invite.
Manage Invitations And Membership
Change a pending invite's role using its Role list. Use Remove Invite to remove a pending invitation. For an approved user, Permissions opens their production access choices; Remove User removes their membership after the confirmation shown.
Troubleshooting
If the invite form or removal action is absent, the necessary action permission may not be assigned to you. A person listed as a contact is not necessarily a production user. Assigning a contact to a crew role is also separate from inviting that person to collaborate in the platform.
