Creating Breakdown Reports
A breakdown report gathers selected scenes, characters and element categories into a shareable preparation view. Generate Report appears when the production's access and your report permission allow it.
Create The Report
- Open Script Breakdown → Generate Report.
- Under Scenes, select the scenes you need.
- Under Elements, select Characters and the relevant categories.
- Under Show, choose Location, Notes, Status, Quantity, Timings or Due Date as needed.
- Select Filter Report to inspect the result.
- Select Download Filtered Report for the output.
Read The Report
Scene headers identify the scene and setting. Depending on your choices, the report includes page eighths, estimated/preparation/shoot timings, the approved filming location, notes, character numbers and element details.
Troubleshooting
Missing location information may mean no location set has been approved. Missing requirements may mean they were not tagged, or that the filter excludes their scene or category. Return to the source record when a report exposes incomplete data.
