Creating And Managing Mood Boards

Mood Boards collects visual references for a production. Image palettes can help communicate colour direction alongside the references.

Create A Board

  1. Open Mood Boards → Create New Mood Board.
  2. Enter Mood Board Name and a description if needed.
  3. Select Create Mood Board.
  4. Select View beside it in the board list.
  5. Select Upload Images and add references.

Arrange And Describe Images

Drag images into the preferred order. Select an image to edit Title and Description, then select Save Changes. Delete Image removes the selected reference after confirmation.

Set Columns to two, three, four or five and Show Palettes to Yes or No, then select Update. The board can show per-image and combined dominant colours.

Assign And Export

Where available, choose a person under Assigned and select Assign Contact. They can find the board through their assignments. Select Export PDF to download a shareable copy.

Delete Mood Board removes the whole board after its confirmation. Use image deletion when you only want to remove one reference.

Troubleshooting

A new empty board needs images before it can communicate a visual direction. Colour palettes describe the uploaded references; they do not enforce a colour grade or change other production images. Creation requires a board name.
