Preparing A Daily Call Sheet

Call sheets bring the day's schedule, people, locations and practical instructions together. The main workflow starts from active shooting schedules.

Before You Begin

Create and activate a schedule, arrange its day breaks and dates, select crew for each day, cast the required characters and approve filming sets. You need access to Call Sheets.

Open A Day's Call Sheet

  1. Select Call Sheets in the production navigation.
  2. Select Manage Call Sheets beside the active schedule.
  3. Select Manage Day for the required shooting day.
  4. Check its Overview: date, scene count, cast, crew and locations.
  5. Work through Basic Details, Cast, Crew, Scenes and Locations.
  6. Use Preview to inspect the result before distribution.

The sidebar also offers Distribute and Download outside a sandbox. The overview's distribution totals distinguish contacts, sent, opened and confirmed sheets.

Layout And Day Data

The schedule's Edit Layout controls how sections are arranged across its call sheets. The day workspace controls the practical information for that shooting day. Changing layout does not fill missing performer calls or location addresses.

Troubleshooting

If the schedule is missing, make it active in Scheduling. If there are no days, add day breaks. If the call sheet has no crew, select crew for the day in the stripboard's Manage Crew workflow.
