Creating A Shooting Schedule
A schedule is a named plan for filming. Separate scenarios let you keep alternative arrangements rather than replacing the same plan each time.
Before You Begin
Open the production and make sure schedule creation is available. Import a screenplay into breakdown first if you want strips generated from its scenes.
Create And Populate The Schedule
- Select Scheduling → Create Schedule.
- Enter Name and select Create Schedule.
- Open the scenario using its controls icon in the scheduling list.
- If the board has not been generated, select Generate Stripboard From Current Script.
- Review its scene strips before arranging the shooting order.
New schedules use the stripboard workflow. The list marks active schedules with ACTIVE.
Name And Activate The Plan
Open Settings on the stripboard, edit Scenario Name and select Update. Under Schedule, use Make Schedule Active or Make Schedule Inactive and confirm the displayed prompt.
Active schedules are offered in Call Sheets. Opening or editing a scenario does not by itself mean it is the active plan.
Archive Schedule is a separate action in Schedule where permitted; read the confirmation before removing a scenario from active use.
Troubleshooting
If generation has no scenes to use, finish importing and building the screenplay in Script Breakdown. If a scenario does not appear in call sheets, check that it is active and has shooting days defined by day breaks.
