Using The Production Calendar

Calendar combines dated production information with events you add yourself. Its Key identifies tasks, shooting days, script elements, expenses due and event types.

Add An Event

  1. Open the production and select Calendar.
  2. Select Add To Calendar.
  3. In Add Calendar Event, enter Title and From. Both must be filled in.
  4. Add Description, To and Type as appropriate.
  5. Select Add Event.

Review And Manage Events

Use the previous/next controls and the calendar's month, week, day or list views to find a date. Select an entry to follow the link provided for that kind of item.

For a manually created event, edit Title, Description, From, To and Type, then select Update. Delete Event removes it after confirmation. Attachments, notes and chat may be available on the event page.

Move An Entry To Another Date

  1. Drag the entry to the intended date.
  2. Read This will change the date on this event.
  3. Select Yes, change it! to confirm, or cancel to return it.
  4. Check the associated record after moving it.

Moving a task changes its due date; moving a shooting day changes its shoot date. Expenses and elements change their relevant dates. Manually created events move their start and end dates. Review the original record to confirm the saved dates before relying on the calendar position.

Troubleshooting

Add To Calendar, editing and deletion depend on permissions. If event creation reports missing information, fill in at least its title and start date. The production calendar and personal availability calendar are separate tools.
