What is a contact sheet?
A contact sheet, sometimes called a crew list or cast and crew list, gathers the names, roles, phone numbers and email addresses of everyone involved in a production, including suppliers, locations and emergency contacts.
Why do I need a contact sheet?
Film sets move quickly, and being able to reach the right person at the right moment matters. A reliable contact sheet saves time, helps departments coordinate and gives you a ready reference in an emergency. It is also useful at wrap when you need to send out thank-yous, screening invitations and delivery requests.
What should a contact sheet include?
Include name, role or department, phone number, email, and any relevant notes such as availability or emergency contact. Group people by department to make the list easier to scan, and share it only with those who need it, as it contains personal data.
